When the goat Polina came out of the forest to become a Pyrenean mountain dog.

On 12.01.2019 the goat Polina reached the Weißbacherhof. The world was freshly covered in snow and its appearance caused a lot of excitement!

"Where'd you get something like that? NO ONE has to approach the outer fence!" This may have been the way the pack of our 5 Pyrenean mountain dogs thought.

Polina was not impressed! For you the dogs were safety! Wherever they moved at the fence, Polina followed them! Already after a short time our Pyris accepted this exotic creature at our outer border.

Well it did nothing but be there and she somehow smelled so good! ;-))

After a few days the owner of the goat contacted us with a request to take our dogs away so that a vet could anaesthetise the goat with a rifle. Because Polina, as she is now called, is smart and fast!

A bad combination for animal catchers. When they came, she ran back into the forest and hid until she could come back safely. After a few unsuccessful days these catchers gave up.

Then the owner made us an offer if we caught the goat he would give us her papers and she would be ours.

Nothing easier than that. Dogs on the inside meadows.  Open the fence of the sheep meadow and Polina came to her new home very pleased! Close the fence again, all is well! So it came that she now lives on the Weißbacherhof.

Our pack and they get along very well. Sometimes they race together until Polina doesn't feel like it anymore. That she stops and demonstratively shows her horns and the race is over!

Again and again our white guards jump up to announce at some border of the yard that they know very well if someone stops down on the street or even wants to throw a newspaper or post in the mailbox. He should know that everything has a limit! 

- And Polina runs with them! Unfortunately she can't bark! What she tries to compensate on the whole way by loud "farting".

Meanwhile she has found out that she has a power advantage with her horns which should not be underestimated and she claims the leadership of the pack!

But our lead dog grabbed her by the neck and shook her thoroughly! Afterwards a hole in an ear was snapped and the subject is done!

Since then Polina can wear an earring! She now also knows her pack leader can only be Navarre!
